The indigenous people of Chile – the Mapuche – have long put forward demands similar to many of those made by indigenous people – the “hidden nations” - around the world. This lecture by Dr Peter Radoll and three Chilean experts active in Mapuche affairs discusses this movement, its demands and the situation of the Mapuche people in Chile at the moment.Followed by refreshments served by the Embassy of the Republic of Chile.
